Planning tool, not financial advice. Visa figures are the official requirements from our verified database (last verified 2026-10-08); your spending inputs are your own estimates — costs vary widely by city and lifestyle.

How to read the result

A green visa check means your income meets the program's official minimum — approval still depends on documents, insurance and the consulate's assessment. The monthly picture is the part people skip: if your planned spending leaves nothing over, one surprise bill can sink the plan. Most successful applicants keep at least a few hundred euros of monthly headroom and a separate emergency fund on top of any official savings requirement.

Frequently asked questions

It compares three numbers: your monthly income (converted to euros), the destination's official minimum income requirement from our verified 44-program database, and your own planned monthly spending across rent, food, transport, insurance, leisure and other costs. You get a visa verdict, a monthly surplus or shortfall, and the one-time costs (application fee, any official savings requirement).
